'The San Luis Obispo bakery that bills itself as the home of media mogul Oprah Winfrey's favorite sandwich has expanded to a new location at The Carlton Hotel in Atascadero. The bakery will offer breakfast and lunch items including wraps, croissants, salads, and the curried chicken sandwich that is popular with the talk show host. An official opening date has not been announced, but Nozzi said he hopes to open by May 15, once new equipment has arrived.'

"The Art Cafe is providing a service to the Central Coast that has been long overdue. I have a healing practice in which I see a great many clients that deal with sensitivities and allergies to foods...This makes it much more difficult to locate baked goods of any kind that do not contain one or more of the ingredients that they find themselves reacting to. They offer a line of baked goods that are delicious. Not only are they delicious, but they exclude MOST fo the usual allergens. I have also found that she is more than willing to prepare special order items for those that might have additional needs. I have sent in many clients who are very excited to have this available. They have all loved her line, and do not feel that they are being 'deprived' in any way.
